The name Pacha-Mama, which literally means “Mother Earth,” symbolizes the age-old connection between man, nature, and stone.
Inspired by totems and vortices
Among various contemporary Native American tribes, including the Cheyenne, Zuni, and Navajo, stones play an important role. Turquoise, for example, is worn for protection, beauty, and its alleged energetic properties.
In addition, monumental stone pillars and sculptures are found in many Native American territories, often referred to as “totems” or “vortices.” The warm brown, orange, and beige tones are particularly appreciated. These rocks often contain abundant quartz and ferrous minerals and are admired not only for their beauty but also for the special energy attributed to them.

We deliberately chose the name Pacha-Mama because similar stone monuments and power places also played an important role within the ancient Mayan and Aztec civilizations, where stones were seen as symbols of strength, protection, and connection to the earth.
