Description
Miracle of nature, a plant decades or even hundreds of years old. Place it in cold or warm water and the plant will come back to life again and again. Read the instructions on the back of this paper
(Selaginella Lepidopilifera) is a desert fern native to the Middle East and Central America. This 'rose' can grow and reproduce in desert areas like a normal plant for long periods, until its environment can no longer guarantee its survival. When the flowers and leaves are dead and fallen, and the plant has lost all its moisture, the withered branches curl inward and form a round ball. The roots retract from the soil and the plant allows itself to be blown along by the desert wind until, one day, it finds a moist spot where it can continue to grow. The ball unfolds, spreads out, and releases its seeds, which germinate. Once the young plants have received water, they will quickly burst into bud. Even after 100 years without water, the plant can come back to life. It is not without reason that it is called the plant of resurrection!
Effects
The Rose of Jericho is sold in Mexico as a diuretic. It is also used in voodoo rituals and Cuban santeria to generate love, luck, and money. It is said that the plant absorbs negative energy when worn on the body.
A completely dried rose of Jericho will regrow when placed in water. Its natural green color will return, and the fern will become a living organism again. Place the rose in a saucer or bowl for three days or longer until it turns green and opens. (You should see results within a few hours.) The water should be changed frequently. Allow the plant to dry out completely after a week of being green and alive. This process can be repeated repeatedly. Perfect for learning purposes.
