Description
Meaning "green gold" in Portuguese, Ouro Verde Quartz is named for its vibrant yellow Chartreuse; a yellow with a splash of green similar in color to Yellow Chartreuse liqueur. Created in 1838, saffron-colored Yellow Chartreuse is yellower than traditional Chartreuse liqueur (a color between yellow and green, similar to Peridot), which was first made by Carthusian monks in 1764 at Voiron's Grande Chartreuse Monastery. The main value determinants of Ouro Verde Quartz are the colorful brilliance of its signature green gold undertones and cut quality.
