Some tips for using the CHI spiral:
Spirals with a 50mm crystal ball should be hung with some fishing line.
The longer the line, the longer the spiral will spin. With a 3-meter line, the spiral will spin for 20 minutes or more.
Place the line exactly in the center of the eye to encourage spinning.
WARNING
The crystal ball acts as a magnifying glass; the focal point is approximately 3 cm (1″) from the glass.
Do not hang the spiral in contact with a curtain in a sunny window.
Do not place the crystal ball in the sun on flammable material.
The spiral can be hung in a sunny environment without problems provided the above situations are avoided.
