Description
Temple bells are a special item; in almost every Buddhist country, they are hung in every temple. Their purpose is to keep spirits out. It's a peculiar sensation to walk into a temple and hear the tinkling of sometimes thousands of small bells. You'll also find large bells, as it were, to amplify your prayers and accompany the mantra of life. Just look at Thailand, where sometimes as many as 100 very large bells are lined up, and you can walk past them with a stick, experiencing the mantra of life with every tone.
