Description
These heavy bells produce a beautiful sound! Besides a good sound, this wind chime is packed with symbolism! Feng Shui (pronounced fang shweej) is the over 3,000-year-old philosophy that teaches how the environment can influence happiness. Feng Shui is considered a pseudoscience. Philosophy: Feng Shui literally means "wind and water," after the funeral book Zang Shu (葬書), which states: "Qi floats on the wind (feng) and disperses, but remains where it meets water (shui)." Feng Shui teaches the influence of design and furnishings on human well-being and happiness, and also how negative influences can be transformed into positive ones. Feng Shui concerns the relationship between people and their living or working environment and focuses on harmony between natural and created forms. Everything that humans create is essentially unnatural, but can be brought into harmony with nature. The goal of Feng Shui is to adapt our living or working environments to stimulate a harmonious flow of Qi. Chinese philosophy revolves around harmony and balance between the opposing yet complementary forces of yin and yang.
