Set of 8 Gemstone Flames from Madagascar – 80-90 mm
Flames are hot, literally and figuratively! This special set consists of 8 different polished gemstone flames approximately 80 to 90 mm high, specially curated and produced for us in Madagascar.
During our last purchasing trip in the summer of 2026, we had this combination made with eight different minerals from well-known deposits around the world. As a result, each set forms a colorful mini-collection with stones from Australia, South Africa, China, Brazil, Madagascar, and Mexico, among others.
Compiled Especially for Us in 2026
For this collection, we didn't want to simply combine eight random stones. During our buying trip in the summer of 2026, we deliberately chose a mix of striking colors, different textures, and popular gemstone types.
The stones were subsequently cut in Madagascar and polished to a high gloss into the characteristic flame shape. As a result, the color, pattern, and natural structure of each gemstone are brought out particularly beautifully.
Which 8 Gemstones Are in the Set?
Each set consists of one flame of each of the following gemstone types:
Rhodonite – Australia
A striking pink to reddish-pink gemstone, often with dark or black markings. Rhodonite forms a beautiful contrast with the lighter stones in this set.
Tiger's Eye – South Africa
Known for its golden-brown color and characteristic silky light reflection. The polished flame shape beautifully showcases the famous cat's eye effect of tiger's eye.
Blue Aragonite – China
A striking light blue to turquoise stone that Chinese Larimar is also known
Fluorite – China
Fluorite is known for its wide color variation. Purple, green, and transparent zones can occur within a single stone, giving each flame a unique pattern.
Rose Quartz – Brazil
One of the most famous gemstones in the world. The soft pink color of Brazilian rose quartz gives this collection a calm and elegant appearance.
Labradorite – Madagascar
Under the right lighting, labradorite can display a special blue, green, or golden sheen. This optical effect is called labradorescence and makes every flame unique.
Mookaite – Australia
Australian mookaite is prized for its warm earth tones. Yellow, cream, red, brown, and burgundy can occur in various combinations.
Yellow Calcite – Mexico
A warm yellow to honey-colored calcite that contrasts beautifully with the blue, pink, and dark stones in the set.
What is a Gemstone Flame?
A gemstone flame is a polished freeform in which the top is cut into various curved points. This creates a shape reminiscent of a moving flame.
Unlike a traditional point or obelisk, every flame has a more organic shape. In doing so, the grinder follows the natural form, color, and pattern of the material as closely as possible.
That makes every gemstone flame unique.
Handmade and Polished in Madagascar
Madagascar is internationally known for its craftsmanship in the cutting and polishing of minerals and gemstones.
For this series, the raw stones are carefully shaped and then polished in multiple steps. The high-gloss finish ensures that colors, patterns, and natural structures become clearly visible.
Because each stone is worked individually, shape and exact dimensions may vary slightly.

The gemstone flames have a height of approximately 80 to 90 mm.
This size is large enough to clearly see the natural pattern of the stone, while the flames remain compact enough for presentation in a display case, mineral cabinet, shop, or home interior.
Every Set is Unique
Gemstones are natural products. No two pieces have exactly the same color, pattern, or structure.
Especially with stones such as labradorite, fluorite, mookaite, rhodonite, and tiger's eye, the appearance can vary considerably from one specimen to another.
The delivered set may therefore differ from the examples shown. This is not a difference in quality, but rather a characteristic of natural gemstones.
