Each slab was formed millions of years ago in the volcanic rocks of the Planalto in Rio Grande do Sul. During the crystallization process, various minerals grew together in the same cavities, creating spectacular patterns, color contrasts, and natural transitions. No two slabs are alike; every stone possesses its own unique pattern and mineral composition.
