The name Pacha-Mama, or “Mother Earth”, refers to the age-old connection between man, nature, and stone.
Inspired by the tradition of totems and vortices
Among various contemporary Native American tribes, including the Cheyenne, Zuni, and Navajo, stones still play an important role. Turquoise, for example, is worn for protection, beauty, and its alleged energetic properties.
Additionally, in many Native American territories, there are stone pillars, sculptures, and monuments often referred to as “totems” or “vortices.” The warm brown, orange-yellow, and light beige hues are particularly appreciated. These rocks often contain quartz and iron and are admired not only for their appearance but also for the special energy attributed to them.
