Formed 71 million years ago, the result of tectonic pressure and mineralization formed this colorful gemstone, which is mined almost exclusively by Korite. Native Canadians call Ammolite the "Buffalo Stone," while others call it the "Energy Stone," "Spirit Stone," or "7-Color Prosperity Stone.".
