Technically speaking, it's not a gemstone, but a rock fragment. It's also not included in the Mindat database. It's a combination of aegerine and orthoclase syenite. Syenite itself is an igneous rock, and Nundorite has the added flecks of aegerine that make it more attractive. The original name Nundoorite was used for this mineral combination; it's logical that marketers use the existing name for the new material, regardless of whether it comes from Nundoora station.
