Description
Our "apricot-colored" salt comes from the world-famous salt mines in the Himalayas. The salt is estimated to be 180 million years old and is mined at a depth of no less than 250 meters. Scientists believe that our well-being and performance depend heavily on the positive and negative particles ("ions") in the air. An excess of positive ions, caused by things like screens, cigarette smoke, and electrical appliances, can lead to lethargy and depression. This phenomenon can be counteracted by a high concentration of negative ions present in salt crystals. Salt can make a crucial contribution to balancing the electrical charge in our living and working spaces. It's no wonder that wellness centers, spas, and nowadays even saunas use Himalayan salt extensively.
