What is an agate geode?
An agate geode is a naturally formed stone in which various agate layers and a hollow interior meet. On the outside, a geode can be quite rough and unremarkable, while the inside contains distinctive bands, colors, and crystals. How does an agate geode form?

What is the difference between agate and an agate geode?
