Boji Stones, also known as Pop Rocks. The Boji Stone is as old as the Earth. The formation of the stones and the creation of the Earth occurred simultaneously, making the stones millions of years old. They are primarily composed of pyrite, to which they owe their blackish-brown colors and their flat, round shape. Studies have also found palladium in the stones. Boji Stones originate from only one location in the United States: Smoky Hill Chalk, part of the Niobrara Formation in Gove County, Kansas. Boji Stones are classified as male and female stones. Female stones are smoother and more numerous than male stones. Male stones are uneven and sharp. Boji Stones are small compared to other minerals, which vary in size from a dime to the size of a golf ball. The largest faceted stones weigh less than three carats. Boji Stones are most effective when used as a pair of female and male stones. Boji stones effectively utilize the beneficial effects of physical conditions, but they are even more powerful when used for their metaphysical properties.
