Golden healer (Lemurian) crystal is a collective name for hematoid quartz, tangerine quartz, and honey quartz (honey calcite). Hematoid crystals owe their special colors to natural iron oxide, hematite, or hematoid, inclusions that give the crystal a red, brown, or golden-yellow color. The iron particles can be embedded within the crystal, as is the case with hematoid quartz. In the case of tangerine quartz, a film or coating of iron oxide is present on the outside of the crystal.
