Description
Named in 1842 by Karl F.E. von Schafhault in honor of Johann Nepomuk von Fuchs [May 15, 1774 Mattenzell, near Bremberg, Lower Bavaria, Germany – March 5, 1856 Munich, Germany] professor of chemistry and mineralogy at the University of Landshut and curator of the mineralogy collection. This is a greenish variety of muscovite, in which high chromium (Cr) replaces trivalent aluminum in the crystal structure. Fuchsite is a very insightful stone. It strengthens your sense of self-worth and independence. The stone particularly provides much insight into the way people interact with you and the way you interact with them. It promotes healthy interaction with the people around you, without (mutual) dependency and power imbalances. It stimulates unconditional love and encourages you to help people in a healthy, equal way without, for example, being drained yourself or overstepping your own boundaries. The stone also works well for people who attract and absorb a lot of negative energy, emotions, and tension from those around them. It reduces the tendency to adopt a victim mentality and to end up in a victim mentality (due to your own behavior or that of others).
