Description
Named in 1842 by Karl FE von Schafhault in honor of Johann Nepomuk von Fuchs [May 15, 1774 Mattenzell, near Bremberg, Lower Bavaria, Germany – March 5, 1856 Munich, Germany] professor of chemistry and mineralogy at the University of Landshut and curator of the mineralogy collection. Greenish type of muscovite, high in chromium (Cr trivalent replaces Al in the crystal structure). Fuchsite is a very insightful stone. It strengthens your sense of self-worth and independence. The stone particularly provides a lot of insight into the way people interact with you and the way you interact with them. It promotes a healthy interaction with the people around you, without (mutual) dependency and power imbalances.
