Morocco has two official languages: Arabic and Berber. Due to the educational system, the former colonization, and the media, many Moroccans also speak foreign languages, including French, Spanish, and, to a lesser extent, English. Two vernacular languages are spoken in daily life: Moroccan Arabic and Berber.
