The Canadian ammolite is incredibly vibrant, exhibiting a wide range of colour tones, including flashes of rare blue. Only a small area of North America is home to this beautiful gemstone. Over millions of years, the nacre's ammonite shell has transformed to take on this wild array of iridescent colours. Korite almost exclusively mines the colourful gemstone, created 71 million years ago as a result of tectonic pressure and mineralisation. Native Canadians call Ammolite the "Buffalo Stone"; others call Ammolite the "Energy Stone", "Spirit Stone" or "7 Colour Prosperity Stone".
