Scapolite is a mineral group from the isomorphic series between maria left and mejoniet. Both belong to the tectosilicates. The transparent to translucent white, gray, yellow, brown or pale pink scapolite has a glass sheen, a white stripe color and cleavage is clear, according to the crystal surfaces [100] and [110].
