Maybe not beautiful, but definitely and strong suitcase, with 3 layers, in which a lot of jewelry and or tumbled stones fit.

More information

Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is a polymer of methyl methacrylate. This transparent thermoplastic plastic is better known under the trade names Perspex, Plexiglas, Altuglas and Oroglas, but also for short as acrylate. Polymethyl methacrylate leaves about ninety percent of the light and is therefore often used to replace glass, with respect to which it offers a number of advantages: it is lighter; it does not fragment; it is easy to produce in all kinds of forms; it allows more light than ordinary glass. PMMA is used in applications where the great weight saving with regard to glass offers a great advantage and also where great transparency is required. such as in caravan windows or large aquariums, the world's largest aquariums have windows several meters wide and high and a thickness of up to 30 cm, made from PMMA. They can also be made into pieces and glued almost invisibly for assembly. PMMA is also a widely used material for transparent noise barriers. PMMA is less used for safety applications, it is less impact-resistant (better than glass) and it breaks into sharp pieces. Nowadays there are PMMA qualities that are quite impact resistant. Moreover, it is very flammable so it can never be used in passenger transport (trains, trams, buses). For this purpose the unbreakable, temperature-resistant and self-extinguishing polycarbonate is used, which is about the same amount. PMMA was also used for the first implant lenses in ophthalmology.
