The Ray is widely distributed in the Indo-Pacific (Australia, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Vietnam), yet vulnerable species. Young guitar stingrays like to live in mangroves in shallow water. Once mature, the animals set sail. Nevertheless, this species can also live well in fresh water. These rays look like sharks and swim with their shark-like tail instead of flapping their pectoral fins, as most rays. They are not dangerous for humans. Rays hunt primarily on crustaceans, with a preference for crabs and shrimp. They can be up to 4 meters high!
