If the antlers are fully grown, the skin itches, so the deer sanding off against trees and shrubs. The circulation of the antlers stops so that it becomes numb and die. Yet it still takes months to shed. After the skin is sanded, discolour the antlers. The final color is different for each species and also depends on the vegetation.
