Stones are very important to various modern Indian tribes (including the Cheyenne, Zuni, and Navajo Indian tribes). For example, they wear turquoise for protection, decoration and its energetic effect. However, many Indian reservations also have pillars and sculptures, also called “totems” or “vortexes”.
