From the south of Mexico we import these cast-iron products, which are manufactured entirely according to age-old tradition and craftsmanship. Whether it concerns statues, birdbaths or fountains etc. they are all unique because of their finish. The products that are rusted are very popular (Rusted look). They are very natural and look great everywhere. Whether it is the garden or an interior, these products come into their own everywhere and give their natural appearance to the environment. It is a great skill to cast cast iron and ultimately to get a fantastic product. The objects are still traditionally hand-poured into sand molds that can only be used a few times. Partly for this reason no product is the same. Cast iron is an molded alloy of iron, carbon (2.5% -6.67%), manganese and silicon. It is produced by melting raw iron together with coke (coke) and chalk in a dome oven, induction oven or drum oven. The liquid metal is poured into a mold that is molded with clay bonded mold sand. Clay bound or green sand is used for casting weights up to ± 300 kg. Chemically bonded molding sand is used for larger casting weights. For very large and usually one-off castings it is even possible to use a "brickwork" in a large hole in the ground.
